Bolton Begin Ambitious Summer Spending: Louis Saha Linked But Which Striker Would You Like the Club to Sign?

Is Saha the One You Want?Gary Megson moved swiftly to secure the £5m signing of Birmingham’s young midfielder Fabrice Muamba and this week Bolton Chairman Phil Gartside has hinted that the club will break the club record with the next signing which will be a much needed striker.

The Trotters struggled for goals last season particularly after the sale of Nicolas Anelka to Chelsea so it’s no surprise that the club are being linked with a number of different players for that role this summer. The list includes Mallorca’s Dani Guiza who finished top scorer in La Liga last season, French Euro 2008 forward Bafetimbi Gomis, Lyon’s Czech striker Milan Baros and now United’s injury prone Louis Saha.

With all this players linked to the club, we’d like to know which of these strikers Bolton fan’s would most like to see at the club? Let’s hear your views.

Louis Saha is injury prone and would not be a club record so it must be Guiza or Gomis coming…I think Gomis is suited to us and the PL and is dubbed the new Drogba so hopefully will prove it!

Of all the strikers we’ve been linked with this season i can’t see any that are appealling. The players we’ve been linked with above seem to me to be waste of money. In my opinion we shouldn’t sign any of them:
Please (on my knees begging..) don’t sign Baros (Headless chicken!), Saha (crock! altho maybe on-loan??), Gomis (Looked rubbish for France), Guiza (Looked poor last night, only one to miss penalty), Elmander (Looked immobile and rubbish as well…)
There must be some decent skillful pacy strikers out there???
Then again i wouldn’t come play for Megson if i was any good!
    I feel soo disillusioned…
