Christian Poulsen: £4M Hardman to be Sold - Ideal for Liverpool, Spurs, Arsenal or Everton

A number of top Premier League clubs are targeting defensive midfield enforcers this summer and an extremely cheap alternative is readily available, that player would be the Danish hardman Christian Poulsen up for grabs for just £4m. The player’s agent Jorn Bonnesen has revealed he expects the player move on from Juventus when he told Ekstra Bladet, “Now there are even more players on their way in (Melo), it is possible that Christian could be one of the players Juventus wish to sell.

Tottenham offloaded Didier Zokora this week to Sevilla after 3 relatively disappointing seasons at the club. The Ivory Coast star was tipped for great things when he arrived in North London but failed to impose himself at the club. Harry Redknapp is expected to bring in a player to replace him and an extremely cheap alternative is readily available, that player would be the Danish hardman Christian Poulsen up for grabs for just £4m.

The Great Dane Michael Laudrup Emerges as Favourite for the Blackburn Job

Michael Laudrup has emerged as one of the favourites for the vacant managerial job at Blackburn despite MK Dons boss Paul Ince reportedly being the clear front runner. Former Danish superstar Laudrup has just departed unfashionable Spanish club Getafe after just 1 season. The 43-year-old took the reigns at the La Liga club last season replacing the Real Madrid bound Bernd Schuster. This was his 2nd managerial job after a spell with Danish club Brondby where he won the cup in his first season as well as the League and Cup double in 2005.
