Ibrahim Afellay: Dazzling £10M Dutchman Opens Door to Liverpool Summer Move

Press reports suggest a number of Serie A’s biggest clubs are vying for the signature of PSV’s attacking midfielder Ibrahim Afellay alongside Rafa Benitez’s Liverpool. The Dutchman’s agent Rob Jansen has suggested that the player’s future is uncertain which will only increase speculation that the player will be on his way to Anfield at the end of the season.

Cascarino: Van Nistelrooy ‘Perfect’ for Spurs 4th Place Assault

Veteran striker Ruud Van Nistelrooy is being chased by Harry Redknapp for a cut-price fee this month after falling out of favour at Real Madrid. Ok, he is 33-years-old so doesn’t have too many seasons left in him, but if he is anywhere near fit, then Tottenham should be chomping at the bit to sign him.

HUNTELAAR: The Perfect Loan Signing for Liverpool, Spurs or Arsenal

Premier League big boys Arsenal, Liverpool, Man City, Manchester United, Chelsea and Tottenham were all strongly linked with Dutch striker Klaas Jan Huntelaar in the summer prior to him joining AC Milan. At the time the Serie A club seemed to have got a bargain at just €15 million. However, after a poor start to his Milan career which has followed on from his disappointing time in Madrid, the Italian giants and the player are reportedly ready to cut their losses on the Dutchman either with a loan or permanent move this month. The likes of Arsenal, Liverpool or Tottenham may therefore be able to pick up one of the world’s most deadliest strikers in a no-risk move until the end of the season.

Cascarino: Van Nistelrooy Could Win Arsenal Title or Liverpool a Top 4 Finish

Luis Suarez to Finally Join Liverpool Once Babel, Voronin & Dossena Depart

Liverpool manager Rafa Benitez is continuing to monitor the form of Uruguayan striker Luis Suarez in regards to a January move. The Ajax star has been in superb form in Holland with reports from the Dutch press suggesting that once funds have been raised by the sale of Ryan Babel, Andrea Dossena and Andrey Voronin we will see the creative star move to Anfield.

Arsenal Move to Save Klaas Jan Huntelaar’s World Cup Dream

At the time the Serie A club seemed to have got a bargain at just €15 million. However, after a poor start to his Milan career which has followed on from his disappointing time in Madrid, the Italian giants are reportedly ready to cut their losses on the Dutchman with Arsene Wenger reportedly leading the chase to revive his career.

Rafael Van der Vaart: Is the £13M Dazzling Dutchman the Answer for Liverpool?

Rafael van der Vaart has confirmed he will be leaving Real Madrid and has this week launched a ‘come and get me’ plea to big clubs in the top four leagues in Europe after rejecting old club Ajax. Real Madrid are reportedly looking to recoup the amount they paid for the creative star which is a figure of roughly £13m which is not much in relation to some of the highly expensive moves so far this season.

Arjen Robben: £15M Dazzling Dutchman the Perfect Signing for Liverpool or Manchester United

Arguably the biggest star of Real Madrid’s 2008/09 season was the Dutch winger Arjen Robben although it appears the Spanish giants are ready to let him go following the arrival of their new batch of expensive superstars. Tottenham are the only Premier League club to date to have expressed an interest which is surprising seeing what the winger can bring to the table.
