As a villa fan i think spurs are defo the biggest teams out of the teams being named including villa. saying because tottenham are in london is stupid and discracing avfc fans. tottenham are a far better team than avfc and a bigger club,richer club,richer owner,attract more players because there better. I need more avfc to stand up and say that. One day i hope avfc will break the top 4 (that will never happend tottenham will doi it but) and that maybe im wrong but if you look at the top 20 richest teams in the owrld..aston villa are top even top 20..spurs are around 11th. There is probably no point avfc,nufc.pompey and other teams to try and buy eto’o because spurs are more llikley than the rest to get him (apart from chelsea,man u)

I’d have to say manchester city have the best and most experienced manager out of any of the teams mentioned (depending on ericksson not leaving). And with us signing Dos Santos, Deco and Ronaldinho from Barcelona and Peter Crouch on his way we will be the best attacking team outside the top 4 with elano and petrov already performing well for city. Also with 2 of englands most promising players in Micah Richards and Joe Hart, and with Ericksson you never know who will come in, for example he brought in Corluka, Fernandes, Elano, Bojinov and they were all un-heard of and now we know their true quality, I think we will knock Liverpool off fourth spot.

Spurs fans; it’s the same at the end of every season you all harp on about how great you’re going to be but always then flatter to deceive, although I have to admit the food poisining was a classic.

Why oh why does every other Premiership club feel the need to constantly knock Spurs…we are a side with true ambition, and now have a manager of proven top class quality ! As a club we have a great history, and no-one can deny we play football (poor defence aside) the way it should be played. We had a disaster with Yol in the 1st part of the season, which left us with nothing to play for outside of the cups. We have plans afoot for a new higher capacity stadium, an exceptionally high transfer budget (in comparison to the other chasing pack teams) and a ruthless man now at the helm. I concede that next season might be a little too soon, perhaps…Once Ramos has shaped the team into his own, Spurs will get there !

Who are you kiddin?… Your not a neutral u mug… Anyone neutral thinking spurs have bigger worldwide fanbases than Everton, Villa and indeed Newcastle is retarded… In the entire history of the EPL spurs have been a mid table team or below, bar 3 seasons where the highest they have performed is 5th!… They have NEVER played champions league in modern times and they currently hold 36.000.

Being a neutral i have to say that spurs are the 5th best team in the PL simply because of the fact that they have a bigger worldwide fan base and have more money. they are the 11th richest football club in the world and have arguably better quality players than Everton and villa. spurs are richer than teams like InterMilan and Roma. They have approx 50M to spend every season and their football is more attractive than some of the top 4 . This added to the fact that they are based in London makes them attractive to top players like Eto and Berbatov. so, Even though Everton and villa have played more consistant football this season without winning anything i would have to say Spurs are the more likely to break into the top 4 and i think they are the favorites to lift the UEFA cup being unlucky to be Knocked out by sevilla in semis in 06/07 season

wow ive never heard such rubbish before, these are the facts tottenham are a sleeping giant, massive world fanbase, always fill stadium, and everytime you read comments from opposing managers after we have played them, they always say the same thing, tottenham are a great side who have massively under achieved, and should be a lot higher in the league, coppell and steve bruce, redknapp, benitez, to name a few, just check the papers. next we are a very rich club run the right way making a profit, not like other teams running at massive bank debt, and we know who they are dont we.
all tottenham need to break into the top four is a good attitude on and off the pitch, giving 100% ,and never giving up till the final whistle blows, and sad to say , that didnt happen last season, a lot of the players just dont have strong wills, so who says we are a big club , all the opposing managers after we play them, and you lot cant say you know better than them, can you, they know the truth.

The table doesn’t lie. Spurs finished in the bottom half because they had a bad season and a crap team and manager. Everton and Villa are clearly the best two options for breaking into the top four. As for Spurs ambitions… well ambition is one thing, but signing quality players and making them play well is another thing.

The club with the biggest potential are by far Newcastle United. In terms of fans, the stadium and the recources they have. Newcastle have been ruined by the previous owners, but this will change now..

But not for next year. Probably a close race between Tottenham, Newcastle, A.Villa and Everton..
