I would definately say Modric, but then again I felt Croatia & Holland were the only decent teams in an otherwise boring tournament.

Bastian Schweinsteiger, purely cos they got to the final on his contributions in my eyes, shining star in a team of average joe’s. I want him at City, wouldn’t he do a job on the right wing at £10m? A bit of a bargain, and looks like a Hughes sort of player (whatever that is).

Those who voted for Fabregas must be Gooners. Come on, he had 1 good game against Russia, that’s it. He didn’t do anything else the entire tournament. For me, it has to be 1.Arshavin, 2.Senna, 3.Hamit Altintok of Turkey.

Has to be Arshavin because he transformed a workmanline Russian team into an entertaining and world class team and in the process stopping the seemingly invincible Holland.

for me Villa - shame he peaked early and got injured. but Senna and Altinop were both awsome DMC’s and Xavi and Inesta both played really well goin for ward.
Couple of Russians - Pav/Arsha and Zhirkov
Pepe looked awsome taking the ball out of defence
Sneijder and Van Der Vaart both looked good as well.
Brilliant Tournament - in my opinion it was more enjoyable without england. and they didnt deserve to be there!
