I think Phil Brown has brought in players who for one or another have things to prove - wanting to kick start their careers and show those who have doubted them how good they actually are.(The plus side is they arrived under priced in many respects.) The result is they are all highly motivated and are keenly competing for places in the starting lineup. Result, a hungry and motivated team with a sound backbone of key last season's players led by a natural leader in Ashbee. Early days yet, but this team can make a real impression if they keep it up. I think both Turner and Marney are getting better and better and maybe have much more to come.

TOtally right Tony, Phil Brown has bought brilliantly and has shown he is not afraid to attack whoever we play particularly away. Apart from the game with Wigan we have not been outclassed by anyone!
