Alan Hansen on the Tottenham Revival Under Harry Redknapp
Once more Harry Redknapp has shown what a great appointment he has been for Tottenham after picking up yet another win away at Man City at the weekend. Don’t get me wrong, they’ve been a bit fortunate along the way, after all, they were under the cosh against both Arsenal and Liverpool but managed to grab 4 points when they really should have had none. However, it’s important that they took advantage in those games as previously the team would have fallen apart in the same situation.
Harry was such a good appointment for Tottenham at this present time as he undoubtedly knows football and more importantly he knows English football so is aware what the team needs to compete at this level.
I have said all along you can have good players but what is needed is a balance to the team and Harry seems to have found it. He has already started to get the best from Luka Modric who looked good in the Euro’s but a bit fragile in his early games in the Premier League. However, his strength is on the ball so Harry has given him a licence to play with less emphasis on him trying to win the ball back and it is starting to show dividends already.
Harry has got Tottenham playing again, he knows how to get struggling sides performing but whether he can make an impact at the top of the Premier League is a whole new question.
Have you been impressed by the Tottenham revival under Harry Redknapp? What do you think has been the main factor? Let’s hear your views.

Spurs were somewhat fortunate against Arsenal and Liverpool but what got them the points was persistancy.
Zagreb and Man. City is another story they controlled both games and were well worth their wins

They found the right manager for now, he will take them to top 6 and the he get stucked there (never making top4).
He will eventually be replaced after 2 years.
