Tony Cascarino Hails ‘Underrated’ Fulham Striker Andrew Johnson
I’m pleased for Andrew Johnson that he’s now starting to score goals for Fulham as for me is one of the most underrated strikers in the Premier League. AJ is more than capable of scoring lots of goals at this level and his work-rate for a striker is simply exceptional.
Roy Hodgson will have to rely on Johnson to keep his side out of trouble this season as if they can keep the lad fit, then he’ll always score goals.
Fulham will stay up this season courtesy of their home form as they may prove to be a bit lightweight on their travels. In my opinion Roy Hodgson’s team will finish just above the relegation battle at they did last season. The key factor in their survival will be keeping AJ fit and firing as he is integral to their battle for safety.
Do you agree that the form of AJ is integral to Fulham’s survival chances this season? Have you been impressed by him so far in a Fulham shirt? Let’s hear your views.

Now he has settled down and scored some goals you can see he is playing with his tail up and wagging away. He causes defences problems with his movement and speed, plus constantly testing oppositions defence. IF he keeps it up we should be looking at the top 10 and beyond not just survival, especially with the much of muchness of this league.
At Fulham we dont feel we have fully got there yet and have been unlucky with West Ham game and not taking points when we should have away, Everton, Hull, Blackburn plus hitting the woodwork more than any other.
Tony you ask IF Johnson keeps this up we will only just survive? You dont rate Fulham at all then?
Are you saying that this season IF Johnson scores for us we will only just be above the relegation zone amongst this lot…,Hull Wigan, Stoke, West Brom Middlesbro, Newcastle, West Ham, Sunderland, Bolton, Blackburn and now Portsmouth?
Oh come on!
