Who is the Best Deadline Day Signing: Arshavin to Arsenal, Keane to Spurs or Quaresma to Chelsea?
Three clubs from the capital brought in big name last minute signings as the January transfer window closed with Robbie Keane’s return to Spurs arguably the most surprising of the lot. However, Arsenal finally spent big on former Tottenham target and Russian talisman Andrei Arshavin whilst Chelsea brought in Portuguese flying winger Ricardo Quaresma from Inter Milan on loan.
None of these London clubs has enjoyed the best of seasons for their respective pre-season targets. Once again Spurs have struggled in the League and replaced a manager, Arsenal’s place in the top 4 is under serious threat and Chelsea’s transition from winning machine to entertainers has hit the buffers under Big Phil.
In recent weeks the Gunners have lacked the creativity their football is renowned for due to the absence of the likes of Walcott, Rosicky and most importantly Fabregas. The arrival of Arshavin should more than make up for this though exactly how he will be used is up for debate. He can play left-midfield or off the forward line but the club also have Samir Nasri in that position. The need for a midfield anchorman may have been more of a necessity in most Gunners fans eyes but there’s no doubting the Russian playmaker’s talent.
Tottenham re-signed former striker Keane just 6 months after the sold him and his previous record at the Lane makes this seem a wise move on paper. However, after a poor period at Liverpool, just how frail is the Irishman’s confidence?
Chelsea beat Spurs to the signing of Portuguese winger Quaresma on loan till the end of the season and may have signed a player that will transform their fortunes, arguably more so than Arshavin and Keane at their respective new clubs. The wide-man will give the Blues the width they’ve been crying out for as well as pace and the ability to beat a defender through a piece of skill. Alongside the obvious strength of the Chelsea midfield, the 25-year-old may well prove to be the best signing of them all.
Which of these 3 new arrivals do you believe will have the most significant effect on their new club in the end of season run-in and why?

Limited to these three choices, Arshavin.
But overall the guy who will make the biggest difference to his team will be Kevin Nolan.

lol Kevin Nolan? He is well average, had his time 2/3 years ago and has gone downhill ever since.
Quaresma is top drawer, what we have needed!

It has to be Keane every time, he proven hes a great player in the Premier league, was superb at Spurs, Quaresma is a proven flop, Arshevin will hate the tackling in the premier league, totally overated.
What a major mistake by the Liverpool manager!!!!

Keane will make the biggest impact, Arsshavin is overrated and Quaresma is exceptional but only occasionaly
