Celtic v Rangers: Who Will You Back With £275,000 Up for Grabs?
The Footy 15 jackpot now stands at a staggering £275,000 this weekend. Simply use your football knowledge to predict home win, away win or draw for the fifteen fixtures and you could be in the money!
It really is as simple as that and can be played for just £1!
There’s a number of mouth-watering fixtures amongst the selected Premier League, FA Cup, Championship and SPL games with World Champions Manchester United’s trip to Derby and West Ham’s home clash with struggling Boro looking sure-fire ‘bankers’. Therefore, the jackpot is looking more and more likely to be won this weekend, so it’s well worth having a go!
Celtic host Rangers in the 382nd competitive Old Firm derby this weekend with just 2 points separating the Glasgow giants in the table. The hosts will start off as favourites after winning 3 of the last meetings and boasting a record of one defeat at home all season. However, that defeat did come against the Gers though it is only the 2nd time Rangers have won at Celtic Park in the last 8 visits. Walter Smith’s side can boast the meanest defence in the SPL away from home after conceding just 9 goals though there have been a league-high 41 goals scored at Celtic Park in the SPL this season which makes this clash as difficult to predict as usual.
Rangers are the form side after a 6-match unbeaten in all competitions including 5 wins and 5 clean-sheets whilst the Bhoys have won just 2 of their last 5 (one defeat) including a poor 2-1 win over mid-table League Two side Queen’s Park in their last match. So this promises to be an interesting Old Firm derby!
The www.footballpools.com Pundits’ John Barnes and Tony Cascarino are both backing Celtic to take the points whilst Alan Hansen predicts a draw. With £275,000 up for grabs, the question is, who do you agree with?
