Sofiane Feghouli: The Teenage ‘New Zidane’ on Liverpool, Arsenal, Manchester United & Chelsea Radar
Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester United and Chelsea are all reported to be tracking arguably the brightest young talent in French football, the 19-year-old midfielder Sofiane Feghouli. However, the English sides are not alone in their interest in the French wonderkid dubbed the ‘New Zidane’ they will have to beat off competition from a number of Europe’s biggest clubs.
Sir Alex Ferguson and co. will be encouraged to make a bid by comments from Grenoble 38 General Director Pierre Wantiez. He told the Dauphine Libere, “Our transfers will also depend on the sale of players.”
“Today Feghouli is the only one who could move on. He has expressed the desire to embark on a new challenge and that is the moment for him.
“If a reasonable offer is made, then we will see. But movements on the market will start later than usually because of the crisis.”

The likes of Ajax, Barcelona, AC Milan, Valencia, Tottenham, Fiorentina, Lille, Marseille, Hull and Blackburn have all been linked to the youngster of Algerian descent. Feghouli plies his trade for Grenoble 38 in the French top division. He has become a permanent fixture in the side playing in 26 of the club’s 33 League games last season (23 starts) as his club finished a respectable 13th place in Lique 1 after winning promotion. However, it was in the promotion winning 2007/08 campaign season that Feghouli made his mark in the first team.
The French U19 international made 26 League appearances in the 2007/08 season (15 starts) and scored 2 goals as Grenoble were promoted to the top division in 3rd place. Overall the highly-talented star has made 55 League appearances (39 starts) for Grenoble 38 in his short career but that has been enough to attract some of the biggest clubs in Europe to his talents.However, his club are aware they possess a rare talent in Feghouli, so he’s unlikely to come cheap such has been his impact. The reported fee is likely to be around £7-8million.
The player himself has hinted he may be leaving the club this summer when he told skysports.com, “What I know is that my contract with Grenoble is until 2010.”
“I like the Premier League, it is one of the best leagues.
“Manchester United? The best team in the world at the moment, it is a dream club. But there’s no contact with me, it is paper talk.”

please sign Sofiane Feghouli, Alex Sanchez and Arda Turan. All are available young and has dribling skills. Later years if we need to sell anyone of them may be MU can get at least {17 - 40} million depends on their market value. We forecast Ronaldo is skillful when you bought him 6 years ago but we did not forecast is market can reached 80 million pound.
