Premier League big boys Arsenal, Liverpool,Man City, Manchester United, Chelsea and Tottenham were all strongly linked with Dutch striker Klaas Jan Huntelaar in the summer prior to him joining AC Milan. At the time the Serie A club seemed to have got a bargain at just €15 million. However, after a poor start to his Milan career which has followed on from his disappointing time in Madrid, the Italian giants are reportedly ready to cut their losses on the Dutchman with Arsene Wenger reportedly leading the chase to revive his career.

Mahamadou Diarra: Arsenal & Spurs Fight for Real Madrid Defensive Midfield Star

Wednesday, December 16th, 2009

Tottenham and Arsenal have been alerted to news that one of the world’s best defensive midfielders has been made available in January by Real Madrid. That player is Real Madrid’s Mali international Mahamadou Diarra. Cascarino’s Premier League Preview: Burnley v Arsenal

Tuesday, December 15th, 2009

Arsenal may have won at Anfield at the weekend but for me, they are still there for the taking at Turf Moor. I was shocked at how poor the Gunners played in that first-half when realistically they could have been well out of the game. To be fair they were the better side in the second half but their win was more a result of Liverpool’s lack of belief and poor display than Arsenal’s brilliance. Few would have expected a Wolves side leaking goals for fun to have picked up a win against a free-scoring Tottenham side in their own backyard. However, that’s what happened and now Spurs need to pick themselves up as they face a real test against a Manchester City side that is almost the mirror image of themselves.
