Alan Hansen’s Premier 10 Pick: Bolton v Wigan

Saturday, March 13th, 2010

Both Wigan and Bolton have given themselves some breathing space following recent victories but a win this weekend for either side would go some way to ensuring Premier League survival. The Latics will be full of confidence following an impressive first win against Liverpool in the club’s history. That victory ended Wigan’s 7-match league run without a win and should lift spirits ahead of yet another massive clash this weekend.

Alan Hansen’s Premier 10 Pick: West Ham v Bolton

Saturday, March 6th, 2010

Just a point separates these two clubs in the Premier League table but it’s Bolton who have dominated the recent meetings between these two. The Trotters have won the last five clashes with the Hammers in all competitions including home wins in the league and Carling Cup this season. However, West Ham are on a roll at Upton Park, so Owen Coyle’s team have their work cut-out getting anything in East London this weekend.

Alan Hansen’s Premier 10 Preview: Bolton v Wolves

Friday, February 26th, 2010

If Owen Coyle didn’t realise the size of the job he has taken at Bolton, he certainly does now. Owen arrived at the Reebok as the saviour of the Trotters but results haven’t improved significantly as Bolton remain in the relegation zone and face a real 6-pointer this weekend at home to Wolves.

Cascarino’s FA Cup Pick: Tottenham v Bolton

Tuesday, February 23rd, 2010

Tottenham should have beaten Bolton at the Reebok after a convincing second-half display and I expect them to finish the job at White Hart Lane. The Trotters are leaking goals at one end and struggling to score them at the other. Although they have enough about them to cause Spurs a few problems of their own, Harry Redknapp’s team’s superiority should tell.
