Fab & Adebayor’s Return Boosts Arsenal ‘Belief’ Says John Barnes

Arsenal showed an impressive resilience over in Spain in their match with Villarreal which many critics would have argued the lacked. After losing Manuel Almunia to injury, conceding an early goal and generally being outplayed in the first half you would have thought Arsene Wenger’s young side would’ve gone under. Instead, the Gunners weathered the storm and bossed the second half in every department.

Arsenal are ending the season strongly with new signing Andrey Arshavin playing his part. I had no doubts he’d be a success with the club as the way they play completely suits the lad’s game. Players like Arshavin need options in terms of passes to impress and Arsenal are one of the best teams in the business in that respect.

Former Spurs Target Samuel Eto’o Plus £15M for Emmanuel Adebayor: Surely that’s a Great Deal for Arsenal?

Emmanuel Adebayor looks destined to leave the Emirates this summer and Arsenal are reported to be deep in negotiations to sign Cameroonian international Samuel Eto’o as his replacement as well as receive £15m in the deal. Many have argued the Togolese man mountain’s departure would be a huge loss to the club but surely if he is replaced by the Barcelona forward this would be a huge coup for the Gunners.

The press have today reported that if the giant Togolese man-mountain does depart the Emirates then Arsenal will make their move for Newcastle’s Nigerian hotshot Obafemi Martins.
