Alan Hansen’s Premier 10 Pick: Manchester Utd v Fulham

Saturday, March 13th, 2010

Manchester United host Fulham this weekend aiming for revenge against the club that inflicted their biggest defeat of the campaign. Roy Hodgson’s team humbled the champions 3-0 at Craven Cottage back in December but after a trip to Turin in midweek, Fulham’s relatively squad is likely to be stretched to the limit at Old Trafford.

Alan Hansen’s Premier League Preview: Sunderland v Fulham

Friday, February 26th, 2010

Steve Bruce’s Sunderland face another tough game this weekend as they look to end their 13-match win-less run in the league. The Black Cats have not won a Premier League match since November and they sit just three points above the relegation zone which will be worrying everyone at the club. The sooner they pick up 3 points the better but with the Cottagers in a good run of form, they may have to wait a bit longer.

Alan Hansen’s Premier 10 Preview: Bolton v Fulham

Friday, February 5th, 2010

Fulham may have ended their 4-match losing run with a 1-0 home win over bottom club Portsmouth in midweek but they face a tough trip to the Reebok Stadium this weekend. To be fair, any away trip is difficult for the Cottagers at the moment as they’ve been unable to win on the road since August, a run of eleven away trips without a victory (7 defeats).

Alan Hansen’s Premier League Previews: Fulham v Aston Villa

Friday, January 29th, 2010

Aston Villa put on a decent display in the 0-0 home draw with Arsenal in midweek which has extended their win-less and non-scoring Premier League run to four matches. However, in all competitions Martin O’Neill’s team are unbeaten in six games and will still be buoyed by reaching the Carling Cup final, so a lack of confidence should not be a problem. Alternatively Fulham are on a 4-match losing run in the league and it’s been 5-games since they last tasted a league win.

Tottenham v Fulham: Top Football Journalists Predictions

Tuesday, January 26th, 2010

Tottenham v Fulham tonight will be a real test of Spurs top four credentials after three disappointing results on the trot. A 0-0 home draw with Hull, a 2-0 defeat at Liverpool and a last gasp 2-2 home draw with League One’s Leeds suggests Harry Redknapp’s team are not at their best at their best at the moment.

Alan Hansen’s Premier League Pick: Tottenham v Fulham

Tuesday, January 26th, 2010

Tottenham were very disappointing in their 2-0 defeat at Anfield following on from another failure to score against Hull at home. Another poor result against Leeds at the weekend has put Spurs under increasing pressure. Harry Redknapp will be more than aware that his side needs to get back on the winning trail and fast, although they won’t find Fulham an easy prospect particularly without Aaron Lennon who has been their main creative threat this season.
