Cascarino’s Champions League Preview: Manchester Utd v AC Milan

Monday, March 8th, 2010

Manchester United are firmly in the box seat in this tie after beating AC Milan 3-2 in the San Siro. However, I don’t feel this tie is over as the Italians will be adventurous at Old Trafford after outplaying United for nearly an hour in the first leg. Alan Hansen’s Premier 10 Pick: Wolves v Manchester United

Friday, March 5th, 2010

One of the stars of last summer’s U21 European Championships in Sweden was the young German playmaker Mesut Ozil who played a key role in his nation’s triumph. Recent reports in the German press suggest Manchester United are set to bid for the player and recent comments from the player himself hint that he is ready to leave.

Tony Cascarino: Will Rooney have Enough Left in the Tank for World Cup?

Wednesday, March 3rd, 2010

Wayne Rooney’s amazing season for Manchester United continued at the weekend as he scored the winner in their Carling Cup final win over Aston Villa. There’s no doubt Rooney is fundamental to England’s chances of success at the World Cup finals in South Africa but my only worry is just how long he can keep up this form.
