Tony Cascarino: Celtic to ‘Revitalise’ Spurs ‘Bit-Part’ Player Robbie Keane

Tuesday, February 2nd, 2010

Robbie Keane’s loan move from Tottenham to Celtic wasn’t overly surprising. Although Harry Redknapp has constantly declared that he wants to keep him at Spurs, It was pretty obvious that he was surplus to requirements. I think Harry has been a bit disappointed with Robbie’s form since he returned to White Hart Lane as he has not looked anything like the player that left to join Liverpool.

Alan Hansen Column: Views on Everton Cup Victory & the Failure of Robbie Keane at Liverpool

Thursday, February 5th, 2009

The Merseyside derby was not of the best games to watch in terms of entertainment but the FA Cup is all about getting a result and that’s exactly what Everton got. All credit must go to David Moyes for this win as the Blues are having a fantastic season. Alan Hansen’s Thoughts on £20M Robbie Keane’s Start at Liverpool

Wednesday, November 12th, 2008

His work-rate is tremendous but as he’ll know himself, all top strikers are judged on the amount of goals they score.

Robbie Keane ‘Lost’ Alongside Torres at Liverpool says Former Chelsea & Marseille Star

Wednesday, September 24th, 2008

It’s now nine appearances (7 starts) in a Liverpool shirt for Robbie Keane without a goal and the pressure continues to mount on the £20m summer signing. His former international team-mate and Football Pools Pundit Tony Cascarino feels that the much heralded partnership between Keane and Fernando Torres may not suit the former Tottenham striker’s game. Cascarino had this to say, “I’m also not convinced about his (Torres) partnership with Robbie Keane. The lad is struggling at the moment. In fact, he looks a little bit lost and unsure of where he’s supposed to playing in this Liverpool side.”

Wednesday, August 20th, 2008

Tottenham target Roman Pavlyuchenko has openly admitted that a move to England would be a ‘big problem’ for the Russian star. He has been linked to White Hart Lane since Euro 2008 and was widely expected to join Andrei Arshavin in North London as the pairing to replace Robbie Keane and Dimitar Berbatov. However, with the transfer deadline weeks away a move looks unlikely.
