Tony Cascarino: ‘I Would Have Taken Theo Walcott to World Cup’

Wednesday, June 2nd, 2010

I must admit to being surprised at Arsenal winger Theo Walcott’s omission from Fabio Capello’s final 23-man squad for the World Cup but the truth is he has not been impressive in recent matches. We haven’t been able to see how players have performed in training, so Theo may well have been out of sorts while the likes of Tottenham’s Aaron Lennon and Shaun Wright-Phillips put in good performances. Rifts in the Arsenal Ranks?

Monday, February 25th, 2008

Did anyone else notice who Theo Walcott celebrated both his goals with? Nicklas Bendtner. In fact, from what I saw, Adebayor didn’t even come into the picture.
