It would seem Chelsea’s defeat to Arsenal is in the end of the world for them if you believed what you read in the press. The reaction to that defeat is ridiculous. Chelsea are 1 point behind Liverpool and still ahead of Manchester United and Arsenal so it’s hardly the end of the line for them.

Nottingham Forest v Watford: Forest Get a Pinch of Championship Reality?

Having held their own against Premier League relegated Reading on the opening day of the Championship season, Forest succumbed 3-1 to their fellow League One promoted team Swansea last week. It was a nightmare time for Forest goalkeeper Paul Smith who handed Swansea the lead after he put into his own net. Despite equalising before half time, Forest could simply not match the strength of the Swans and spent much of the second 45 marching to the tune of the home side.

Once again the destination of the Championship title looks extremely difficult to predict with a number of clubs in with a good shout. There’s the likes of Bristol City, Crystal Palace and Watford who all reached the play-offs last season though the impact of getting so close to promotion could have a negative affect on the players.

Charlton v Watford – Addicks Left Wanting More?

Be prepared for a battle at the Valley this weekend as two of last season’s Premiership relegationees line up against each other. Watford and Charlton remain on course to reinstate their top-flight status and both will be looking for all three points here.
