Football Goes to the Ballet

You may have noticed that over the past few months, The New Football Pools has been asking you to vote for your favourite footballing moments of all time. From Geoff Hurst's World Cup goal and lap of honour to David Beckham's stunning free kick against Greece, Gordon Banks' amazing reaction save against Pele to Gazza's tackles, tears and dentist chair celebrations, the results are now in and they weren't just for our own personal knowledge and enjoyment.

Because on Tuesday 16 September all these great moments and more are being uniquely choreographed by The English National Ballet and performed live to such music as Nessun Dorma, A Little Less Conversation and You'll Never Walk Alone at the Playhouse, Liverpool.

With special appearances from Alan Hansen, John Barnes plus many more local celebrities (not in tutu's though we're afraid), it is set to be an incredible night of entertainment and nostagia. And one that you too could be a part of. Click here to watch the rehearsals.
