Speculation won`t affect me - Porter

26th November 2008

Chris Porter insists he is fully focused on playing well for Motherwell amid speculation over his future.

The former Oldham striker, who has been linked with Nottingham Forest, has netted four times this season.

"There's been quite a bit of speculation about my future at the club but I obviously can't and won't let that affect my game," the 24-year-old told his club's official website.

"As far as I am concerned, I'm happy as a Motherwell player until someone tells me different.

"I've got to concentrate on playing well and scoring goals for the team in the upcoming matches to ensure we're in a good position come the busy Christmas and new year period."
