Saints waiting on Haining

St Mirren are waiting to discover the severity of Will Haining's foot injury.

The centre-back suffered the injury towards the end of Saturday's 3-1 defeat by Celtic.

Saints boss Gus MacPherson said: "We're not fully aware of the extent of the injury so he went for a scan on Monday night.

"We will get the results from the scan within the next 24 hours or so."
