Hart injury confirmed

17th November 2008

Manchester City have confirmed goalkeeper Joe Hart has suffered ankle ligament damage and will be out for three to four weeks.

The 21-year-old was injured in a collision with Daniel Cousin on Sunday as the Hull striker put the Tigers ahead in the 2-2 draw at the KC Stadium.

Hart, who also misses the chance to represent England in Germany on Wednesday, had a scan on Monday which confirmed the damage as sprained ligaments in his left ankle.
