Stalemate frustrates Dunne

4th December 2008

Manchester City captain Richard Dunne was disappointed his side failed to extend their 100% record in the group stages of the UEFA Cup.

After beating FC Twente and Schalke, City found Paris St Germain a different proposition and difficult to break down in a 0-0 draw at Eastlands.

However the result means Mark Hughes' side will finish at least second in Group A going into the final match against Racing Santander in Spain in two weeks.

"We will go there with confidence even though we were not sharp enough in the first half," Dunne told ITV4.

"It was a tough game. They set up really well and we never got the right tempo. That doesn't help the forwards.

"They are a good side but it was only in the last 15 minutes they came at us."
