Corcoran set for specialist

20th November 2008

Hamilton boss Billy Reid has revealed striker Mark Corcoran will see a specialist in a bid to get to the bottom of his hip problem.

Corcoran, who turns 28 at the end of the month, has missed Accies' last two games and will also sit out Saturday's Clydesdale Bank Premier League trip to Dundee United.

Reid told PA Sport: "The problem is slightly difficult. He'll have to go and see a specialist.

"We're just waiting to see what sort of results we get back - it's causing him a wee bit of distress at the moment.

"He's played with it for a few weeks so we have to be careful with him."
