Laws happy with draw

1st December 2008

Sheffield Wednesday boss Brian Laws believes Fulham should be fearful of his side after the Premier League outfit were drawn against the Owls in the FA Cup.

The Cottagers will travel to Hillsborough for the third-round clash which Laws insists is a `winnable' one for his side.

Laws, whose side have won six out of 10 Championship matches on their own patch this season, told the Star: "First and foremost, you want a home draw. Anything after that is a bonus, and I think this is a great one for us and a winnable game.

"If we keep our good home record going, Fulham will fear us, that's for sure.

"I don't think we could have asked for a better draw than this. Fulham are doing reasonably well in the Premier League, halfway up the table, and have some really good players; it's an attractive game, but being at home gives us that extra incentive.

"We are always confident at home and I think we can do well against them."
