King: We`ll be fine

1st December 2008

Marlon King insists there is no need for alarm despite Hull having now gone six games without a win.

Hull fought out a 1-1 stalemate with Stoke on Saturday - a result which came after 2-2 draws with Manchester City and Portsmouth.

With defeats to Chelsea, Manchester United and Bolton coming in the three matches prior to that, the Tigers are now without a Barclays Premier League win since October 25.

Nevertheless, they remain sixth in the table and King, who scored at the Britannia Stadium, is not pressing the panic button.

King, 28, on a season-long loan from Wigan, said: "If we'd lost all six games then it would be a bit of a concern. We've been playing some tough teams.

"Everybody is beating everybody in this league and you've just got to try and take the points here and there."
