City short on luck - Johnson
30th November 2008
Bristol City boss Gary Johnson bemoaned his side`s luck after their 2-0 defeat at Preston.
Stephen Elliot and Ross Wallace netted the goals for North End to leave the Robins with just one win in eight games.
Johnson said: "It's not quite going for us at the moment. Once again we have created two or three chances and didn't take them.
"We are having to work very hard to get any sort of chance at all. We are not really working hard enough to get those easy goals, but we are creating opportunities.
"I'd like to be able to use the fog as an excuse. The referee did well to put the game on, and he was right to put it on.
"I have just got to keep working with them and hope we get a double deflection goal, and maybe our luck and confidence will change. A little bit of luck and quality is missing at the moment."
