Paterson wants more

1st December 2008

Burnley striker Martin Paterson insists he is not satisfied with a return of 11 goals in all competitions so far this season.

The Northern Ireland international, 21, is proving a big hit at Turf Moor following his summer move from Scunthorpe.

Paterson has four goals in his last two appearances, but he said: "I think I should have more at this stage.

"I was talking the other day with my dad and saying I think I should be on a lot more than I am, but I'm not Kaka so I can't score every time.

"I'm reasonably happy with it, but I'm not fulfilled."
