Jensen targets cup glory

3rd December 2008

Burnley goalkeeper Brian Jensen believes the Coca-Cola Championship side have it in them to win the Carling Cup after they added Arsenal to their impressive list of scalps.

Two goals from promising Scottish midfielder Kevin McDonald either side of half-time saw the club secure a place in the last four of a major competition for the first time in 25 years.

Asked if Burnley could win the competition, Jensen said: "Why not? Anything can happen in football. It is a massive game for the club because it is the semi-finals.

"With a good draw and a little bit of luck then who knows. We will probably be underdogs."
