Aluko a doubt for Dons

1st December 2008

Sone Aluko could miss Aberdeen's trip to Kilmarnock on Saturday, manager Jimmy Calderwood has revealed.

However, the injury Andrew Considine picked up in the 2-0 win over Motherwell is not as bad as first feared.

Winger Aluko, who set up the first goal, also went off early against the Steelmen on Saturday.

"Just as a precaution, Sone is going for a scan later today," Calderwood said.

"We are hoping it is not too bad. He might miss Saturday and he might be out for two weeks but we will have to see. It's nothing serious.

"Andy's looked a sore one but he does not need a scan. It is just bruising and he might be back in time for Saturday."
