Brown relishing Hibs clash
2nd December 2008
Scott Brown has predicted plenty of goals when Celtic face Hibernian in the Clydesdale Bank Premier League this weekend.
The Scottish champions travel to Easter Road on Sunday hoping to maintain their advantage at the top of the table but expecting a tough match.
Both clubs battled out a six-goal thriller earlier in the season, with Celtic triumphing 4-2 on that occasion. And Brown, who scored in that game, believes this weekend's clash could produce another entertaining 90 minutes.
"The games are always close and they are always exciting," he said. "These matches tend to be televised every time and you can see why. I'm sure their confidence will be high so we know how hard it's going to be at Easter Road. It's a game we have to win though."
Brown spent five years at Hibs before his 2007 move to Parkhead and insists he always relishes the tussles with his former team.
"I'm looking forward to Sunday's match," he told Celtic View. "I always enjoy going back to Easter Road and the Hibs fans are good to me. I've always had a good reception there over the last 18 months."
