GRAHAM POLL
Referee and Podcast regular Graham Poll

Former top international referee Graham Poll proved a hit during our Euro 2008 podcasts. However, after finishing bottom of our Euro 2008 league, the Thing from Tring has much to prove regarding his football punditry staus. So, how will he fair against the like of Hansen, Barnes and co and not to mention his podcast comrades. Kevin Day thinks he'll have the better of him but we guess we'll have to wait and see! For now, let's just get to know him a little better...

See Graham's predictions for this week>>

Team?
Queens Park Rangers - although well lapsed due to refereeing commitments but hoping to rekindle the love next season.

Favourite player? And Why?
Cristiano Ronaldo - excitement, possibility to do anything and great at set pieces.

What kind of football supporter are you?
When England play, very vocal, usually nervous, unsurprisingly.

Best football memory?
As a spectator seeing Beckham score against Greece to ensure qualification.
As a referee, standing in the centre circle at Wembley in May 2007 at the end of the play-off final knowing that I had finished my career where and when I wanted with a successful performance with a feeling that my refereeing journey was complete after 27 years and 1554 matches.

First live football match?
West Ham vs. Leicester City in 1993; a great advantage at one end of the pitch led to a West Ham goal. It's nice when they come off!

Favourite half time pie filling?
Steak and Kidney with a cup of tea. Alternative snack would be Chips with loads of salt and a cold lager.

Best International Match?
As a spectator, Euro 96, in the stadium for Gazza's goal and on TV the performance against Holland - our best.
As a referee, probably flying to South America for final qualifier for World Cup 2002.
