An optimistic Birmingham and Torquay fan who's confident he can compete well - unlike most Blues fans he is not pessimistic concerning his chances of upsetting the big boys in the pundit's League!.

You're a Birmingham fan, are you happy with your side's performances ath the moment?

You can’t argue with the position in the table, though a few more goals would be nice. But having such a strong defence always gives us a chance. I don’t rate Wolves, Reading are the big danger.

How do you rate the signing of Kevin Phillips?

A very good short term measure. His goal scoring record is fantastic, and in tight games he will be more likely that anybody to turn the game.

Is Alex McLeish the right man for the job?

Probably. People seem to forget that we had only picked up 11 points from 14 games under Steve Bruce/Eric Black last season & I have no doubt we would have still gone down with Bruce in charge. McLeish should be able to get out of the Championship with our current squad, the test will then be whether he can adjust the squad to compete in the Premier League.

Do you think you'll see Birmingham win a major trophy in your lifetime?

No. But then a lot of clubs will not win a major trophy in my lifetime.

Do you have a track record as a predictive genius?

Mixed results, there always seems to be one result that lets me down. Running into form recently though, I’ve just got to stop thinking Spurs will turn it around.

How do you rate your chances agains the pundits?

It’s a level playing field.
