My granddad sitting at his kitchen table quietly concentrating filling out his coupon.

Is punditry a lost art?

No, it's growing with all the added stats available. Everyone thinks they can predict results.

Who do you think has the biggest football brain?

You'd have to say Sir Alex I suppose. His record is amazing and he's had to keep adapting to an ever changing game.

What’s the best prediction you have ever made?

My best football prediction was That a young Frank Lampard would be as good as Roy Keane and he's certainly up there. As for football results I went for italy in the last World cup.

Can't be bothered with the who's the better player debate. Frank scores more goals, but maybe Roy controlled more matches etc etc.

What’s the worst prediction you have ever made?

It's only Ray Parlour" was the line when we lost to Arsenal in the FA cup.

Who are you most competitive with?

Normally fans of teams that play in Red.

In your experience, how did the pools affect the fabric of society?

It got people thinking about the outcome of all matches, not just their own teams.
