Davey praises fans
19th November 2008
Barnsley manager Simon Davey has thanked the thousands of Tykes fans who constantly chanted the name of striker Iain Hume during their 2-1 win over.
The 25-year-old Canada international has been released from Salford Royal Hope Hospital and is recovering at home with a fractured skull after he was struck in the head by Chris Morgan's elbow against Sheffield United.

"Iain has received a lot of support from throughout football and that shows, not only what a popular player he is, but how people have reacted to the severity of the incident and the injury."
