Dailly upbeat over Addicks` chances

10th May 2010

Charlton defender Christian Dailly insists the club can enter the League One play-offs in optimistic mood.

The Addicks had to settle for a play-off place despite a 2-0 win at Oldham on Saturday, but they face Swindon on the back of just one defeat in five games.

"I don't think we're far away from our early-season form," said Dailly.

"During the season, we obviously had a few injuries and suspensions, so little things went against us in spells and we just didn't quite manage to get the couple more wins we probably needed.

"It's a credit to the staff here and the boys themselves how we've managed to keep injuries to a minimum. Everybody's dug in and we're still in a good position. We're right in there, so we're very positive."
