Palace arrange Chelsea friendly

Crystal Palace will host Premier League champions Chelsea in a pre-season friendly on Saturday July 17.

The game at Selhurst Park will kick off at 3pm but the club have revealed "they cannot guarantee which players will be available to participate from both squads".

A statement from the club's administrators on the club's official website read: "Due to the club's current financial situation, all gate receipts from this fixture shall be held on trust and only released to the club should the fixture go ahead.

"In the event that the fixture is not fulfilled due to the club's current financial situation, all ticket purchases shall be refunded."
