We must stay focussed - Coleman

12th March 2010

Coventry boss Chris Coleman has urged his side to focus purely on their own game as they continue their push for the play-offs.

The Sky Blues currently lie in eighth position in the Championship and are just three points adrift of the top six ahead of Saturday's clash with Plymouth.

Coleman told Sky Blues Player: "We've put ourselves in a very good position. We've got to keep winning and we've got to keep getting the points, simple as that.

"It's a different type of pressure than what we've been used to. Normally we've been saying `let's climb away from the bottom half a dozen, bottom 18 and just get into the top half`.

"We've done that and now we've punctured the top 10 and are three points off the top six. We've got 11 games to go, there are teams above us with a game in hand, they will be in the driving seat.

"All we can do is concentrate on ourselves, which is what we've been doing and the players have been magnificent."
