Injury blow for Casalinuovo

16th March 2010

Dundee United striker Damian Casalinuovo is set to miss next week's Active Nation Scottish Cup quarter-final replay against Rangers with a hamstring injury.

The Argentinian striker, 21, is expected to be out for around a fortnight after limping off just minutes into Sunday's 3-3 draw at Ibrox.

He will definitely miss Saturday's Clydesdale Bank Premier League game at Aberdeen.

Manager Peter Houston said: "We're still finding out if it's a pull or a tear, but the likelihood is he'll be out for two weeks at least."
